Our Communicable Disease Prevention Plan

West Coast Retina operates under the guidelines of Public Health and Work Save BC to reduce the risk to our staff and patients from communicable diseases in our clinics.

We are committed to the health and safety of everyone.

What we are doing

  1. Our staff and physicians are full vaccinated against COVID 19.

  2. Our staff are required to do a self-assessment of symptoms prior to starting their shifts.

  3. Our staff use appropriate PPE when required.

  4. Our staff are committed to hand hygiene protocols throughout their shift.

  5. Our clinics follow the BCCDC’s guidelines for Environmental Cleaning and Disinfectants for Clinic Settings

What you can do to help

  5. Wearing a mask in our clinics is optional. If you would like to wear a mask, we will provide you with one. Are you wearing your mask correctly? Click HERE to find out.
